The overall quality of this boot is really good, the color shines and teh buckles are just the right size. Note that the front zipper is really only an "opened" design and not a real zipper at all, but the look goes really cute with the boot.

This should would have received 5 even 6 starts if it were not for the bottom of the shoe! This is a well known brand XOXO...yet the bottom is VERY slippery. I tried them on at work on the carpet and still slipped forward. It does have ridges, but more foor look, I guess, and not as a non-slip shoe.

You get replacement heels, which is a normal thing that most companies are doing lately, howevery the heel is made of general shoe/plastic...

I did return these because I did not want to add the stickers you place on the bottom of shoes to have a non-slip effect and I did not want to take the shoe to the shoemakers and replace the heel. I would have ended up spending the amount of the shoe just to make it...Read more

This is a nice boot. I wear an 8M and that is what I ordered in brown. This runs about 1/2 size larger, for me. I thought about returning the boot for a 7 1/2, however decided to keep it and wear thicker socks or tights and use foot pads in the heel. I did however order a 7 1/2 in black. A previous review talked about the slick bottom of the shoe. If I buy shoes with a slick sole I scuff the bottom with some sand paper, that seems to do the trick. If I can I get the heel replaced with a rubber one I do, if not, I scuff that with the sand paper.

I was going to purchase these boots but showed them to my girlfriend before purchasing. She went ahead and ordered them first, in black. They are beautiful boots, especially with the gold buckle, BUT - they are extremely slippery at the bottom. One must include slip guards on the bottom of the shoe AND the heel in order to not slip and fall. My girlfriend is sending hers back because unfortunatly she DID slip and fall.
