For the price it's not bad, but could be a lot better.,

I added some pictures so that you could see what I'm talking about - these shoes are comfortable in the soles, there's not a ton of padding but I went a half size up and put some inserts in them and they're fine. For synthetic materials they're well made, put together well with no glue stains or odors and don't feel like they're going to come apart. There's a thin lining throughout that makes them nice and warm. My problem is with the overall fit - per the images you can see that there's quite a bit of sagging at the bottom of the leg - one of them is so bad it's been digging into my ankle and it hurts quite a bit.
My other problem is that the opening is simply too tight - I'm average weight with normal calves, and these just fit over tights or leggings - there's no way I'd be able to tuck skinny jeans or slacks into these at all. They're also labelled as Knee-High's - at 5'4" they're about 2.5 inches below the bottom of my knees - if you were any taller (which most people...Read more

These boots are perfect, cute and comfortable. I've only had them for maybe a week and a half, and I've already gotten quite a few compliments on them. I wear a size 8.5 or 9, so I got a 9 and put insoles in them, which made them fit pretty perfectly. They're really lightweight. The only thing is that the material they're made out of--the "vegan leather," or whatever they called it--feels a little cheap. I'll have to see how well they hold up. Oh, and the laces are definitely cheap. For seventy bucks, they could have given you nicer laces--but it's not that big a deal, and I didn't bother taking off stars for either the laces or the "vegan leather" (which, after all, might just FEEL cheap). A couple people commented that, although these are supposed to be knee-high, they hit a little below that, which it true--mine are maybe an inch-and-a-half below my knee, which I expected and I'm fine with. I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs., and they're comfortably roomy around my calves. I can fit them over...Read more

I bought these about three months ago and think they look great, but if you don't have thick socks or some other type of cushioning around your ankles they can be painful (someone put up a customer image so go take a look). I'd give this more a 3.5 or 3.75 if I could, but they are also working out great for me and I wear them every day.
Me vs. the Shoes: I have skinny calves, I'm about 5'6" and wear (and bought) a size 8.5. The top comes about 2.5-3 inches below my knee (which I like), and I usually wear skinny jeans with these so they look great (can't imagine wearing these without pants or leggings of some sort). I walk at least 5 miles a day and live where it's cold for most of the year so I have a whole stack of thick, fluffy socks to deal with the following features:
- slouch around the ankles, which you don't notice so much with thick socks
- thin/low insulation
- little to no cushioning (super thin insoles would be a plus)
I think...Read more
