Just received these boots in dark brown today and am very pleased. They will be excellent for work, where we wear casual attire, with jeans or corduroys. The toe is very pointy, but does not pinch the toes. Good ankle suport, which is the reason that I like lace-ups so much. Once you adjust the laces, you can leave them like that and just use the inner side zipper. The detailing is very interesting and eye catching. The only reason that I did not give them 5 stars is because the workmanship is not as superb as best boots or shoes. For the price, they are fantastic. I just ordered a second pair in the lighter color.
