Cute but disappointing for the price,

These boots are really cute and stylish, especially packed with paper and cardboard. Once the filling is taken out, the boot sort of slouches at the ankle and creates an uncomfortable fold that presses into the ankle and top of the foot. It's not attractive, either. I haven't discovered a way to lace them yet to keep that from happening. Each step is a reminder of the poor design and has me wanting to stuff something around my ankle/top of foot to protect it and to fill in the gaps.
It was disappointing to find that the sheepskin lining ends just above the ankle. As advertised, there is only a sheepskin sole, so the area around the foot isn't lined - just the bottom of it. These boots weren't exceptionally warm and fully lined with sheepskin, I think they could be, as well as give the boot a solid internal structure that will keep it from folding at the ankle where sheepskin joins just fabric.
