I have to admit... I have NEVER spent this much money on any one thing, period. But... after searching all season for a trendy, cute pair of "riding boots" that werent cheap imitation leather, or lackluster, I stumbled across Channing. Wow. Talk about gorgeous, trendy, supple, quality shoes. However, I had major sticker shock at the price! Don't get me wrong, I own two other pairs of UGGs, so I understand the workmanship going into these shoes... I was just hoping they were a little "less". Well, after about 2 weeks of dreaming about these shoes, and longingly looking at them everyday online, I finally decided to do it! I bought them! I was SO excited when they came! I ripped open the box, discarded the shoes I was currently wearing, and slipped on my Channings. I got the "Chocolate" Channing, as I loved the richness of the color. These boots are the perfect blend of classic style, quality, and comfort. The construction is incredibly sturdy and well-made with the finest of materials. When I opened the box the day they came, they did not disappoint AT ALL. I will say that they are a little stiff at first but after wearing them a couple of times, this has worked itself out. I can tell that with time they will probably be my personal favorite. These are boots that will stand the test of time and only get better with time. Couldn't possibly love them more and they are worth every cent. I ordered the Chestnut color which is rich and gorgeous and not too light. I think this color best showcases their awesomeness. In my opinion, they are true to size. Two thumbs WAYYYY up!
