Where do i start?
I got these back around December of 08'.
They have a great fit and were comfy.
I loved the way they looked not to mention the price is really reasonable!
Here comes the bad.
I live in Chicago, and wanted to use these for the winter seasons here.
I used these from Dec. 08' - Feb. 09', and left them in the closet until the next winter came.
After pulling them out from the closet for the the following winter(December 09') and using them for only a week, I began to get tears in the boot!
It started off with one and became several on each boot!
Now I remind you I live in Chicago, not Siberia.
I'm using these boots to stay dry, and look nice in.
I never used these boots for anything rigorous, and after one season(not year) of use they fall apart?!
Funny sidebar: I ran into a stranger on the bus with the same boots.
He was thumbing at a hole he had in the boot, I asked him how long has he had them for...Read more

Tretorn Rainboots,

OK, first the good. They were inexpensive, totally cute and comfortable.
Now the bad. Minor problem-They fit a little big, I had to insert a second insole as I was sliding around inside the boot even with thick socks. Major Problem-I've had these boots about a year now and I've just noticed cracks or tears forming on the inside of the boot near the top of the foot. I don't have bunions and nothing is rubbing, the boot looks like it is going to begin disintegrating soon. With the minimal usage these boots have seen, there is no reason for the rubber to be breaking down already.
If you're looking for good rainboots, do not buy Tretorns, I have seen other reviews where people complain about the boot breaking down, developing cracks, etc. Save your money & spend it on something else!

disposable boots,
March 28, 2011 This review is from: Tretorn Unisex Skerry Rubber Boot (Apparel)
I got a pair in green and in navy blue - I used navy blue first - very moderately, it is not constantly raining in NYC and these are not a all year long rain boots since they have a warm lining (the best season is Fall, because they are too warm for Summer and too slippery for Winter). Blue pair lasted me for about 3 months, the following year after discarding the blue ones (too expensive to repair) I took out the green ones - same thing - they tore just like the blue ones after two months!!! Really don't waste your money for this model - these are disposables, use it and toss it out!!! About good reviews - hard to believe after two pairs gone so fast!
