okay so i'm giving this boot a 5 star because IF you get the right size it should be a great boot. i am normally a 7.5-8, so i got the 8B(m) to be safe. with just normal thickness socks i couldn't even get it on!! first off it is SUPER narrow, so if you have an even remotely wide foot, defineitly get the C/D width. also because of all the furry fleece inside go up a half size especially if you want to wear thick socks. had to send these back and decided to go with the granby tall boot in a 8.5 C/D and it is a perfect fit. the boot is killer overall being waterproof, cozy, and super durable. just be aware of the small/narrow sizing and go up a bit. i have never ordered a 8.5 in my life, so trust me when i say this boot runs small.

In expected Timberland fashion these are well made and well suited to actual use in the great outdoors. They are also extremely comfortable, and my feet are very picky about shoes. Plus they look good.

Like another reviewer wrote, the sizing is on the small side. I ordered a half size bigger than my usual and went wider, figuring I'd be planning on thick socks. They actually feel perfect with my normal socks because the lining/fleecey material is so thick. Of course, with such a thick layer I don't really want to wear bulky socks too, so for me the fit is great.

I am very happy with these and recommend them highly! I'm thinking of getting a brown pair too, I like them so much.

I ordered this item from another site, before I noticed Amazon had it, too. I didn't try it yet in the snow, but I am so far satisfied with the looks, the feel and the fit. Somebody mentioned it runs small, but for me it worked ok (I wear 9.5, which is what I ordered, and it fits well with a thicker sock; it is a little hard to put on, but this would be expected with a boot that has no zipper or anything to "open" it).
