these boots are great. true to size. comfortable and come with laces that aren't mustard yellow. The leather and suede is good quality. Get em'.

I usually wear a size 7.5 - 8 shoe with an 8 being too big sometimes, but I erred on the side of caution and ordered a size 8 of this boot.
When they arrived, they were great in appearance (+5* so far) - just like in the picture. Unfortunately, these boots were waaaaaay too small for a size 8 (-1*). They were more like a full size smaller than what they were supposed to be! At first I was going to return them and order a size 9, but I noticed that they were also quite uncomfortable. They were unusually stiff(-1*). They might need to be broken in, which is not something too uncommon in boots in general. However, as there's no other way to know whether they'll relax enough to be wearable at all, I sent them back because I didn't want to risk not being able to return them if they didn't.

Again, fantastic visually, but disappointing size and comfort-wise.

These boots rock. I get so many compliments from friends and strangers when I wear these. The first time I ordered these I went for a regular width 8.5, which was a little narrow and a little too large for my foot. I'm usually always an 8.5 but I tried again and got an 8.0 wide and they fit beautifully. It was definitely worth sending back the first pair and seeking perfection, because that's what I got. I was out in the pouring rain walking for at least a half an hour the other week and my feet stayed the warmest and completely dry the whole time, which amazed me. They have been holding up very well so far (no problems with the suede) and I anticipate them lasting a good number of years, even with the harsh Wisconsin winter that they'll have to deal with. I highly suggest these boots to everyone!
