I was really in need of a waterproof winter weather boot. I'm so glad I decided to purchase these! I have larger calfs so the lace up is a great option. I've worn them many times and I've stayed completely dry and warm. Today will be the ultimate test due to the storm that is hitting the Midwest today. I have one minor criticism: the suede on the lip is slightly lighter than the rest of the boot but sine it is a lace up you don't see it when is on. Lastly, I'd suggest a supportive insert/insole. Overall I love this boot, get lots of compliments and they keep you warm and dry! Don't wait weeks like I did...if you are thinking about them get them - they are worth it!!!

I just received these boots and they do not keep my feet warm AT ALL. We just had a snowstorm yesterday and this morning my feet are still cold after 2 hours of being inside. I am wearing thick socks on top of it. They are waterproof, which is the only good thing I can say about them and the only reason I am giving them any stars.
Not happy with North Face, I was expecting a much better product.

I should have bought these boots from Nordstrom so I could have returned them after a day out in the cold. However, I hesitated and then of course, the color and size I wanted was out of stock. My whole reason for ordering these boots was based off the expectation that they'd keep my feet warm. I'd have the warm factor of Uggs without the UGGLY factor. I hate being out in Chicago, and within an hour, my feet are cold. These boots were somewhat a waste of my money because they keep my feet no warmer than the boots I already own. Perhaps I need thicker socks.
I will say that they are comfortable!! I walked around downtown Chicago in them for about 6 hours, and my feet never started to hurt.
