I love the look of these boots, I wish the tassle was in black like in previous years, I just think it would look better. These boots are a step up from my regular snow boots and they look a whole lot nicer when I need to be a bit more dressed up. They are warm and cosy. I ordered a full size bigger because they didn't have my true size and it's not too big.

I have owned this boot for several years in black and am trying to get up the money to buy a pair in brown. First of all, it has unique properties of keeping my feet warm when I am outdoors but not overly warm when I wear them indoors. I bought them a little on the big side in order to wear either stockings or socks depending on how cold the weather is, and that has worked out great.

But most of all, the boot is SO comfortable. I can walk and walk and my feet never tire. My feet are on the wide side (I normally wear a C width or "wide" and I have a normal arch). I pronate as well (A LOT) so boots generally are a better fit for me that normal shoes.

The boot has held up very well in snow although, until last year, Washington DC wasn't known for a lot of snow.

These are the best boots ever and the price was fabulous-there was a one day special. I always get compliments when I wear them. Just make sure the size that you order is 1 size smaller. I wear a size 10 and had to buy a size 9. This is my 3rd pair of these boots (I have black & lower cut cream ones). LUV them. You can wear them through the mud and they will never discolor.
