I was unsure about ordering the Steve Madden brand b/c my past history with the brand has been one of uncomfortable shoes. However, I really like the style and looks of the boot - so I went ahead and ordered. When I received the product, I really liked the look - the zipper on the back worked really well. When I wore the boots the first 2 times, they were pretty uncomfortable on the top of my foot b/c the leather was hard and it cut into my foot; however, by the third time I wore them, the boots broke in very nicely and I LOVE them - I wear them everywhere and have no issues!! It was just the initial break-in period that I had an issue with. I think they are a great boot for the price - and I always get compliments!

because they looked sleek and understated in the photo... but they just fit me funny - one boot drooped and slouched right out of the box, the other was firmer and held its own! The shape of the shaft was another issue. I had read other reviews on other sites that indicated the calf and ankle areas looked odd - I should have paid attention. Also the zippers were REALLY stiff and difficult to open and close. Fit in the shoe area was bit tight - but that's usually the case for me with any Madden product. Back they went. Thank you, Amazon, for making that so easy!

I absolutely LOVE these boots! They arrived quickly, fit great and look fabulous. Definitely worth the money. Wish I could buy them in brown but the price went up :(
