Pros: cute look, soft leather upper, able to get them on easily (and wear them) despite having, uh, generously sized calves.

Cons: very stiff in the foot - to the extent that they give me blisters when I've walked any sort of distance over a mile in them, very biker look - as in, it's hard to make them look casual like I'd hoped.

I'm not sure what the other reviewer means. They certainly are real leather, and they are authentic Steve Madden.

I ordered these boots yesterday because I've been searching for boots like the one "Tessa" wears on the show Suburgatory and after looking in so many stores and websites, I finally found these. They just arrived about an hour ago and they're perfect. They're well made and just the right height. Not too heavy or too light, and definitely have that bad-ass look. So happy! :)

I bought the TROOPA style of "Steve Madden" boot last year from this amazon site and notice when I received them that they looked a little different than the ones in the store.
A few months later the so-called leather got completely scuffed/torn (in way that wouldnt happen to real leather)

not worth the little money you are "saving" by buying from this site.
Buy real ones, its worth it.
