Steve Madden Women's Tostido Riding Boot

This boot is definitely not true to size. I'm always a size 7 in shoes, and I couldn't even get my foot past the ankle of the boot (on the right shoe, at least). I was able to eventually get the left on one. Other than that, it was beautiful and looked well-made. I just don't even know how many sizes I should order up in order to fit this.

Update: Okay, I tried a 1/2 size up (7 1/2), and I still can't get my foot through the ankle part. I gave up, and am returning these for good.

This boot was stiff and difficult to get on my right foot. The left foot was an easy slip on, which was strange since I am certain my feet are the same size. The look/design was cute, except for the bunched up material at the ankle, one of my pet-peeves! Even though, I ordered a half size up it there no success, and I decided not to go with an exchange and waste more money. I would pass on these, or at least see if you can find them at a local store (to be certain about sizing) and then buy them from Amazon, since they are the best priced.

I bought these boots because I loved their style. However, when they arrived and I tried them on, the inseam was impossibly small. I wear a size 5 and I couldn't even get my foot beyond the boot's shaft.

It took being persistent, but eventually Street Moda not only refunded my purchase, they also refunded the return postage!

In any other purchase, if the shoe fits, I'd order again through Street Moda, and just wish someone developed a real world shoe size chart.
