These shoes run large. I ordered them in my size (8.5) and had to send them back for an 8. Even the 8 has a bit of extra room, but I can handle it. The shoes are very sturdy, and I love that the platform and thick heel makes them easier to walk in. My only complaint is that after wearing the shoes for 20 minutes, the top of the bootie rubbed against my ankles/legs until they were raw! I would still recommend purchasing these fabulous shoes, but be prepared for the collar of the shoe to rub against your skin. Plan ahead and pack some band-aids!

I just got it yesterday and tried it on. I haven't worn them for a length of time. I took another buyer's advice and purchased half size smaller than my regular size and she is right. The shoe hits a little high on the leg and its too bad it doesn't have goring along the zipper at the top. I may take it to my shoe repair to have it put some in if its not too conspicuous. Otherwise wearing the zipper unzipped part of the way is an answer to. Maybe it will be a non issue once the shoes are broken in. I have a 3 yr old granddaughter who loves my selection of shoes. Steve Madden I'm starting her young. I told her when she goes to college she can come stay with me and I will buy her lots of shoes.
