Steve Madden Women's Frencchh Boot

I saw these boots on Amazon, and really liked the look of them. I already have another pair of Steve Madden boots in a soft nubuck beige "Rannch" style, and I loved them with the exception that the leather on those was a bit too soft and floppy on the shaft, so they do slouch a bit more than I would like. These Frencchh boots in Cognac leather looked like they are made basically the same but that the uppers would have a bit more body to them and they do! They arrived today and I love them! The color is darker than the picture which I was thrilled to see,leather is very nice, soft and pliable with a subtle pebble texture, and yes, they are made like and fit very comfortably like my Rannch style ones but these do have a better upper shaft as far as thickness and the ability to stand upright. I have a very hard time finding shoes and boots. My size is technically a 10 1/2 wide which is impossible to find alone nevermind the giant calf issue. I got them in an 11 and they slipped right on and fit like a glove from the first day. LOVE

I ordered a pair of Steve Madden Frencchh boots in a size 9 and paid 97 dollars for them. What arrived at my door was not STEVE MADDEN boots. Yes, it had a screen printed label inside the top of the boot that read FRENCCHH made in China. I put them on and they seemed cheap, not the quality I looked at in Macy's when they were sadly out of my size. I pulled them off and looked down inside the boot and there was a pink label "SATIS Fashion" made in mexico. They also do not have the Steve Madden logo on the bottom of the sole as it should be. I'm so disappointed, I love amazon.com but am now skeptical of purchasing items that they could possible pass off as a brand name that is actually a cheap knock off brand. I only gave this one star because they made me, otherwise, there would be none.
