These are surprisingly lightweight and non-rugged looking vs. what I expected from looking at the picture. While they are comfortable, I was hoping for more substantial biker-type boots, which these are not. Leather is soft and boots fit right out of the box - but again - not quite as sturdy/rugged as I had hoped. More of a lightweight shoe-feel than that of a biker boot. I bought a 7.5M, which is my normal size, and they fit fine if not slightly loose in the heel.

First pair of Steve Madden's boot. Must say they are very nice and better looking in person than picture. I love the look, feel of leather and the color is great! Ordered my regular size (8) and they fit perfectly. You can wear a thicker sock with with the boots and your foot doesn't feel tight and have room to breathe. I have been looking for the stone or whiskey color boot for awhile and price was good. Buckles are easily to open and close. I just needed to open and close the top buckle to get in and out of boot (very Easily). Fits right around the mid calf area and room to make tighter if needed. I recieved yesterday and sporting today. Great boot and comfortable.

These shoes fit perfectly. Normally wear a size 7 1/2 - 8, and the 8M fit perfect. They are comfortable, and I can easily wear them with a dress or jeans. They do not seem flimsy or cheap, and have shown little sign of wear and tear so far. I would definitely recommend to a friend or purchase them again.
