They look amazing, fit true to size, add an awesome six inches to my height, and have a tough rubber sole that doesn't skid or tick when I walk. The first day I wore them, I got a lot of compliments, and their uniqueness attracted a lot of attention. I love the way they look, and the added height. That being said, the first day I wore them is the ONLY day I've worn them, because I hate almost everything else about them. There is almost no padding inside, so the balls of my feet got really sore really fast - it was like standing on wood. I first tried them on with thin socks, and literally within the five minutes I spent walking around my house trying them out, my feet started to hurt. I switched to thicker socks to add a little padding, which only helped for about ten minutes. With a decent insole, they could be bearable, comfort-wise. These shoes are amazing. I ordered the brown pair first directly from Steve madden. I ordered a size 8. The shoe fits good, but in the front by the pinky toes it started to ache after about an hour into wearing them. So I put bandaids on to help and it worked. I loved these boots so much I figured they had to have them in black some where, and that's when I found them on amazon. This time I ordered an 8.5. It's doesn't give me the painful pinky toe. So I suggest ordering an 1/2 size up.

These boots are sweet and seem comfortable although I have not worn them much. I am waiting for better weather conditions (less ice) and some great functions to wear them to. I have a black jumpsuit which I can't wait to wear them with!
