Great boot, the white sole did not work with the rugged brown leather. Otherwise it was a great boot. returned it and bought the black - much better1

Its early and not that cold yet. I only have worn them three times. But they are pretty perfect. Just what I was looking for. Comfort from the get go. Look good ,female co-workers inquiring (keep in mind they are not girly at all). The only part of me not cold at work last night! I have a hard time finding boots for work. Ordered my normal size 7,perfect fit, little extra room for thick socks. I took the advice of a friend to go with Sorel, so glad I did.

in 1996 i bought a pair of hiking boots much like these from l.l.bean and wore them for about 10 years, wearing them quite OUT. when i went on line to look for a similar pair i found none anywhere, as i like this height of boot to hike and REALLY wanted to have some that were of a good quality. when i saw these i was very impressed and thankful that they are sorels, i am certain they will last me for quite some time! though...because they are possibly the most comfy boot i have ever wore (my teva's are great too!) i may wear these out sooner than 10 years! who cares!!!! they are just lovely to look at and feel like something i would wear into eternity should i decide to hike there too which i am sure i shall!

i wear an 8. and from reading reviews ordered the 8
fits like a glove, i never wear socks so they are a sweet 2nd skin (O:
