Really wanted to like these shoes, but they had to be returned. First, they run very short and a little narrow. I ordered 1/2-1 size larger than usual, but they still felt tight. Second, if you have any sort of bunion, forget these. The sole and upper have a slight upward curve, which makes it hard to get your foot in, especially if it's hard to bend your toe fully. If you do get them on, it is painful to walk, as the shoe rubs and pushes on the bunion area of your foot and holds it in an upward curved position. Third, the sides of the shoe, which is very stiff, is too high up and painfully hits you in the ankle bone. Fourth, the shoe needs more holes to lace it up. There are not enough holes to lace it firmly and the rawhide laces don't hold tightly either, so the shoe slides up and down on your heel when you try to walk. Again, I REALLY wanted to like these shoes, BUT...

Sorels are best. Just order 1/2 size larger than you normally would and bingo! My wife is a big fan.
Love these shoes!,

I bought these shoes for rainy days and for a quirky style. I am a huge Sorel fan because of the practicality of their shoes and their stylish flair. I wear a size 12 (women's), and these are a little snug on my toe when I wear thick socks, but they are not uncomfortable.
