I got these boots last year (not on Amazon) for work in temperatures hovering around zero and they kept my feet warm and dry and are very comfortable. They're a little hard to get into until well broken in, but once on, they're like slippers inside, but sturdy and rugged outside. The arch support is adequate and well located, at least for me. Will be getting a pair for my husband this year.

I ordered these boots in a size 7 since I usually wear a 6 1/2 and they were way too big. I suggest ordering a size down.

I bought these for outdoor work and hiking in winter. I haven't had the chance to wear them on a hike yet, but here is what I have found from wearing them so far:
Pros:
Very sturdy
Good waterproofing
Surprisingly lightweight (this will come in handy in snow)
Pretty warm
Fairly comfortable
Cons:
Very stiff, particularly the top which digs into my ankles (it may just take a while to break them in)
Misc:
They are a little large. Usually I get hiking or winter boots half a size larger so I have room to wear thicker socks. I did so with these and found I would have been fine ordering them at my normal shoe size.
