Sorel Women's Sorellington Rain Boot

This is a great boot -- but I say nearly perfect because of Sorel's strange sizing. The shaft of the boot fits fine -- surprising for my 14in calves -- but the shaft is quite tall -- it hits the back of my thigh when i go up or down stairs, etc. Also Sorels are narrow! If you have narrow feet feel free to buy the size you actually wear -- I had to go a size up (bought a 6 instead of a 5).

I just received these in the mail yesterday, a day earlier than the estimated delivery date and thank goodness - Colorado got a foot of snow! The fit: I am 5'2" and 115lbs. I wear a size 6 sneaker and a 5 or 5.5 in heels depending on the fit. I bought the 5's and they fit PERFECT. They have plenty of room for thicker wool socks but don't slosh around with thinner socks. The height was perfect, hit a couple inches below my knee. Plenty of room for pants to fit inside. I got the black color and they are very cute. All in all perfect rain/slushy weather boot. I will have/love these forever!!

I am so excited about this rain boot! Quick shipping--they arrived in the mail just a few days after ordering. Amazon's price was much lower than Zappos--even with their "free shipping", I still paid about $20 less, which is substantial. I ordered my true size and they fit perfectly. I have narrow feet and require arch support. The arch support in this boot feels amazing and I don't feel like they are too wide (which can be problematic for us narrow footed gals!) I ordered the green boots and the color looks just as in the picture. They are nice and tall, which I love, and will look great with skinny jeans or a skirt or even shorts when walking around town. But I plan on putting these to work in my muddy, hilly yard this spring for the most part and feel confident that the traction on the bottom will do nicely.
