I received at least ten compliments on these boots within the first hour I was wearing them. These boots are very atractive and well made. They definitely fit like a rain boot. I took the advice I read in other reviews and ordered a full size smaller than I generally wear and they fit perfectly even with a thicker sock. Lace up design allows you to adjust to your calf size. This is my first pair of Sorels but they will not be my last! I have yet to wear them in any real bad weather but I'm sure they will not disappoint.
