These boots are wonderfully soft and warm. Very comfy, with enough room to tuck in straight jeans or to wear your jeans over them. They are a cute fashion accessory and great for everyday wear. The suede is glove leather soft, so if you live in the parts of the country that get a lot of snow and use salt on the roads, you are going to want to waterproof these boots to prevent them from getting trashed. While they will keep your feet toasty warm while outdoors, if you are an active winter outdoor type, I would look at other models of Sorel boots, like the ones modeled on snowmobile boots with felt wool inserts for ATVing or hiking in the snow. Sorel is known for using high-quality materials in making their boots, and if you take care of your Pakuas, you should be able to get a lot of wear out of them.

Love the shoes...warm and comfy. Like wearing a slipper outside and keeping your feet toasty warm at the same time. Size was true to my regular size. Will probably water proof them just to be sure they stay dry in really wet weather. Comfy in the house also as a house slipper. Terry in Greenville, SC
