These are really cute boots. But they are so tight/narrow, I couldn't even get them on my feet! I'm not even sure going up a size would help. So I'm returning them. I recommend the Helen of Tundra boots instead, which I bought to replace these. I've reviewed them as well. (If you have really narrow feet, you'll probably be fine with these.)

boots are so cute! however, the fit on them is very strange. the boot part runs wide and the sweater part kept falling down. i kept trying to adjust it to keep it from slouching but was unsuccessful. the sweater part is what makes this boot so adorable. i returned them, with some difficulty, i was not charged back the full amount, the shipping cost was deducted. according to the returns policy amazon offers free return shipping. i called customer service to make sure i understood the policy correctly. i was assured that i would be refunded the entire purchase amount. much to my dismay, i was not refunded the full amount, the shipping was deducted. i called customer service again, who then rectified the problem.

I live in Michigan so snow boots are a winter requirement. Most warm boots look like exactly what they are made for - SNOW. Every year there are new boot styles sold in the fall and winter but most of them are only suitable for winter in a warmer climate than the upper Midwest. Sorel has always been known for making warm winter boots for adults and kids. The Juneau looks like a fashion boot but incorporates the technical aspects of insulation and waterproof that Sorel is known for. Based on the reviews, I ordered a 9.5 which is a half size up. I have no arch and a medium wide foot. I have no problem getting the boots on or off. Use the leather tabs to pull on the boots not the knitted sock top or you can pull it off. The fit is a tad loose but I prefer a loose fit and have the option to wear heavy socks so it will be fine. The waterproofing makes the leather stiffer than normal but they are leather. These boots are designed to handle snow - there is a decent lugged sole for...Read more
