Love these boots! They are stylish and fun - the first time I wore them, I received multiple compliments. They are also very practical - completely waterproof and high enough to plow through snow drifts. Here are the specifics I noticed.
- They run a little big and pad down a bit. I wear an 8-8.5 and the 8 fit perfectly, though at first I was concerned that it felt a bit snug.
- The cream color is darker than appears in the pictures. It doesn't look dirty so much as it has a tinge of gray.
- I also tried on size 9. Interestingly, they are 1/2 inch taller than the size 8.
- The zipper provides very easy access both in and out
- I noticed that others mentioned these were good for folks with wide calves...that may be the case, though my calves are average to narrow and they fit well.
- The only drawback I found is that my rather narrow foot tends to slosh around a bit in these boots, mostly b/c they don't fit as tightly in the ankle area. Essentially they...Read more

Needed a serious boot for shoveling deep snow and this model is sort of like a "mullet". It's serious on the bottom and party on the top.
Actually, it keeps your feet dry and warm. If it's really high snow you'll need to brush the snow off the fuzzy material on top but the snow doesn't penetrate it. They fit well, I wear thicker socks when
I'm outdoors shoveling so I get a 1/2 size larger - no problem. They didn't hurt from the get-go and are a nice streamlined snow boot ~ not the heavy clunky type which I did not want to end up with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost as if my Hunter boots and Uggs made a baby..., January 20, 2011

I am a dog walker in Colorado and I finally found the perfect boot for those cold and slushy days.
Just like my Hunter boots they have fantastic traction on ice and they are waterproof. Just like my Uggs they provide warmth and comfort. As a bonus, they are really really cute. Even cuter in person.
I took them right out of the box today and walked about ten miles (11 dogs) in perfect comfort.
I recommend these to anyone who has been trying to find the perfect winter boots.
These are pretty close!

(In all fairness the lining is not as luxurious as shearling, but it gets the job done. No cold and clammy toes!)
