Product Review

Sorel created the WomenAAAs Glacier Boot for ladies who arenAAAt afraid to play in deep drifted snow, start up the snow blower, or slog a few miles into the backcountry for a bit of mid-winter camping. A super-tough PU textile upper covers your entire calf to keep the snow out, and a fully rubber foot adds additional waterproof protection. A thick ThermoPlus felt inner boot fits inside the outer gaiter and insulates your feet against the cold. And AeroTrac outsoles prevent ice buildup under your shoes and maintain solid traction.

I absolutely love this boot. I just moved to Colorado and these boots have been perfect for tromping in the snow and taking my dog out on walks in. I usually chronically have cold feet however i'm not even the least bit cold in these. I would definitely recommend this boot to everyone!

We have owned a pair of these boots for, probably, well over 20 years, as has the rest of my family. If you want warmth in real cold--these are just the BEST!!! Great for ice fishing, snow camping, snowmobiling, hunting, outdoor events which don't require great exertion (ie: lots of standing around, such as, at youth events), extreme cold, emergencies, etc. I have chronically cold feet, but not in these! Tried a new pair on recently, except for being made in China now, seem pretty much the same as mine. Fit was a tad smaller, so might need a bigger size than in the past (We noticed this sizing issue with all Sorels made in China. We wish they were still made in Canada.). The only downside, which is to be expected, is that they are on the heavy-side. But, since they would be too warm to wear every day, even in the north country, that's not much of a problem to us. We love these boots and would always want to keep a pair around for extreme cold conditions! My whole family agrees!

I was booked for an Antarctic adventure, when I found out that the boots that the travel agency provided were sizes 6 and above (in women's sizes)... I wear a size 5. I had to get my own boots and fast!
I chose these, mostly on a shot-in-the-dark purchase. I was NOT disappointed!
Everything about these boots is ultra high quality. With them, my feet were safe, dry, and warm throughout my entire trip to Antarctica! These boots brought me through: wading in ankle-high Antarctic waters, climbing up hills with knee-high snow drifts, walking on sharp icy rocks, and beyond... all in below-freezing temperatures! They are very heavy for shoes, but they don't feel too heavy while wearing them. Sure, my suitcase was weightier than everyone else's, but it was DEFINITELY worth it! These boots outshone the provided boots by a mile! And after the trip? Not a scratch on them! A specific feature that I found wonderful is the elastic pull on the top, with the holding clip. you can cinch this...Read more
