Just got these in the Crushed Berry (a dusty/muted red-violet toned purple) and couldn't be happier. I must admit that I purchased the boots because they were on sale for a total of 60% off retail, and was rolling the dice with the berry color, the only color available in my size. What a fantastic buy and surprise this turned out to be!!!! Super comfy, easy to slip on and off, flexible sole, unique design, all while still having a generous feeling toe box without the look of clown shoes. Everyone who sees them loves them. They look great with skinny jeans and also fitted bootcuts tucked neatly into the boot when wrapped snugly around the calf and secured with a sock. A very sexy and stylish look, and completely appropriate (and fun) for this early 40-something woman. Note that they do not fit *under* jeans, bootleg or other, due to the design, so these are strictly meant to be worn with pants tucked in. These boots are amazing! Snow storms had been hitting the area where I live and these boots have kept my feet dry, warm and very comfortable! I couldn't ask for more :)

I am glad that I ordered half a size more than the one I am used to getting, otherwise they would have been too tight.

My usual size is a 9 1/2 but the ankle part is a bit small to pull it on risking not being able to ever get it off but in ordering a 1/2 size larger, now the boot is too wide though I supposed one could compensate by using a very thick sock. This boot might not look good if designed with a wider ankle so for the right person, it might be a great looking and comfortable boot.
