I'm a big fan of Sorel, and although most of their products are on the expensive side, I've been impressed with the quality of their shoes. These wedge boots are pretty comfortable, yet they are a little on the firm side. I usually wear an 8 1/2, but the 8 fits just fine.

Living in Alaska creates a challenge for ladies who need their foot wear to be utilitarian but who long for a bit of style. I was thrilled when I came across these boots. As long as the temperature is zero or above, I can pull these boots out and be confident that I'll be sure footed, that my feet will be warm, and that I'll look and feel very cute. The wedge style heel along with the rugged sole gives extra assurance when traversing frozen asphalt. They're Sorel, so you know that you can trust them for durability. I've been a Sorel customer for years, but this boot exceeds all Sorel purchases that I've ever made. Epic win!

These boots are great! It's wonderful how a "good" pair of shoes makes you feel. They are high quality and I feel great about the purchase. They are slightly darker than the picture shows. I was worried about the whole sizes, since I typically wear an 8.5. I got the 8 and they fit perfectly with my normal knee high socks. They are comfortable and I don't foresee any issues with sore feet. I definitely recommend.
