Skechers Highlanders Glaciers Womens Waterproof Boots

I hesitated to buy these boots online with no customer reviews but I love my other Sketchers and these boots were everything I was looking for in a winter boot 1) waterproof 2) warm 3) tall enough in deep snow 4) fashionable 5) quality construction at reasonable price. So far I am not disappointed. The suede leather shaft is soft and nicely lined. The tread is enough for traction without being uncomfortable. I usually wear a 7 1/2 but bought these in an 8 to allow room for thicker winter socks and they fit great that way. I would give these boots 5 stars instead of 4 but they have very little cushioning in the sole (I added a gel insert which makes them quite comfortable) and I don't think they will keep my feet warm for extended times in freezing weather. But they are perfect for playing in the snow with my kids and as casual winter footwear. They also look great with my jeans tucked in or fit nicely under my jeans.
