These boots arrived in the mail and I wore them all day. I am in love with them. So happy. I hope they hold up for a long time. They are casual enough to go with jeans and great with dresses and skirts. A few things about the boots. I haven't worn them in snow type weather yet. I am worried they will not stay dry. I will need to spray them with some weather proof protectant for the Northern weather. They are very comfortable but not thick and suffocating like Uggs. You need thick socks with them. They do not have a lot of support but just enough. Lastly part of the reason I love these boots is I am pretty petite person 5'3'' 110lbs. My legs are thin- think twigs- so I can never find high boots that don't leave my leggs swimming in tons of extra fabric. These are perfect- nice slim fit up the leg and the adjustment in the back helps too though I barely need it. That said these are not for those with bigger calves. I really liked this boot. The buckle allowed me to adjust this boot to snugly fit my 12" calf. It is very comfortable and runs true to size. It is a great slouchy boot and I'm looking forward to wearing it with leggings and skinny jeans. I am 5"2 and it hit several inches below my knee. This was one of my first tall boots purchases, and I couldn't be happier! The rubber tred on the bottom is awesome, not that slick plastic like some boots. They're very comfortable and don't require any breaking in period. I ordered in grey and I'm really considering getting another pair!
I'm a size 8 and they fit perfectly.
