Totally agree! Have used these boots everywhere in NZ, from easy day tramps to multiday alpine rock missions. Used it even in Antarctica on sunny summer days. These boots stick to rock like glue, making the most slippery terrain feel sticky. They are super light and it almost feels like walking barefeet. People say one kilo less in your feet one kilo less on your back. Agreed! These boots are EXTREMELY comfortable. I used them on a full on 4 day tramp straight from the shop and they have never given me any hotspots, even after 7 days walking with a heavy pack on.
If I were to complain about something, the only thing would be the stiching. The inner sides of both feet started to become undone and I had to re-stich them. But then again, I was probably overusing them, since they are not made for the kind of terrain I was using them on. I went hiking in the Dolomites with my old faithful LL Bean boots. Unfortunately, my old boots were not so faithful - the soles fell off. I needed boots in a hurry, and went to a local shop in town. I tried these and 2 other pairs, and bought these. They fit very comfortably, from day one. Kept my feet perfectly dry in the rain too. This is my first pair of Scarpas, unless they last forever it will NOT be my last!

The boots are very comfortable. The seller did a great job of keeing me in the loop regarding shipping. The only draw back to the shoes had was that the sizes tend too run a bit small.
