I was looking for a rubber riding boot. I hate the look of Hunter rain boots, i love the look of riding boots, but i wanted a boot that had its own structure, unlike a leather boot- so a rubber boot holds the same shape, it stands up on its own, you just stick a foot inside. This is a perfect match.
I'm short, so the shaft goes right to my knee which i hoped for.

The rubber boot is a bit heavy, the heel is substantial, unlike a common rubber boot with flimsy rubber gummy sole. this a solid rubber sole giving the boot more class. I enjoy walking around in them.
the little details also make this boot lovable, the knubbs at the back of the boot, the emblem on one side of each boot.

strong, stylish and comfortable, im very happy with this set boots. it came in time, we had snow the same week it arrived. also it doesn't even look like rubber, my sister couldn't believe that's its rubber.

I must say these boots surpassed my expectations. Because of the greatly reduced sale price, I anticipated there being some substantial problems with these boots, but mine have been perfect. As far as the sizing, I am normally an 8.5, pretty much in every shoe, but I got a 9. The 9 fits great, I have pretty muscular calves, and there is still some room for warm socks or maybe a skinny jean. I was going to get an 8, but they would be way to small, I would say when in doubt size up for these!

The boots themselves are well made, and very durable. They've lived through a Chicago winter with me, and they still look new. They are easy to clean and still pretty warm. Like other reviews, I would definitely go with thick socks for these boots, because they have a pretty thin fabric lining, but overall, they are a very versatile pair of rain boots.
