I wear size 6 in sam edelman shoes, and ordered size 6 in this boot....the fit is perfect and has enough room for a sock, leotard, or stocking. I love a hot looking shoe of any kind but my first response is to comfort, Sam edelman is known for sexy shoes, but he believes in comfort. These boots are very tall and comfortable...I love high heels and these are very very high, not for someone who doesn't like high heels, and yes you have to feel comfortable in walking in a very high heel in order to feel comfortable in these boots....if you are unsure, I say order them, & see for yourselves how stable they are when walking in them. If you are unhappy, I've never had a problem with amazon on returns, returns are easy & you get prompt exchanges or refunds, I've returned twice I believe and never have been disappointed with amazon's customer service, but best of all they have the best prices and shipping...Zappos is 2nd best to amazon in prices, and they are equal in customer service. These boots are amazing! Super sleek & sexy. However, they are very skinny. I have a 16" calf and couldn't get these on. I am thinking about having them altered with elastic in the back because I love them so much. With the right legs, these will knock 'em dead!

Bought these boots, took about a week to week and a half to recieve them. They are really cute but way too high for me, Im about 5'6 and I feel like a giant when I wear these. If your not used to heels these probably wouldnt be great. I feel like a wobbly giant when I wear them around the house, I am returning them. They are super cute and feel really nice other then that.
