I really like these boots but had to order a full size smaller to fit - which meant I had to pay to ship back the extra 2 pairs - but it's a good deal for a fun boot even with the extra shipping - I ordered initially a size 10 and they rate that on the box as a 42 2/3 and the Size 9 as a 41 1/2. It is larger Euro size than Amazon's sizing chart - So be prepared to order smaller ones -

After ordering and returning another style / brand of winter boot, I wasn't sure I wanted to order online again.
However, I saw these on Amazon's website. The price was right, I knew Salomon was a quality brand, and the style / heel were right for me.
These are the most comfortable boots ever!
The shaft fits well without feeling tight and there is plenty of toe room.
They might run a tad larger than regular sizing, but not a problem for me.
I am a teacher and have recess duty OUTSIDE on cold winter days! These are super warm and by the end of the day, I don't even know that I have them on!
I am excited to try them out on a winter hike to see if the comfort and warmth hold up!
I would highly recommend these!

Boot was nice. Good construction and style. Looked warm and good traction. Unfortunately, even though I ordered a 1/2 size down (8 vs my normal 8.5) based on other reviews, it didn't fit. Actually, it was a little big in the toes but it was too tight over the top of the arch. And I've never had issues with my arch being too high. A slender narrow foot would have fit - but mine is average and the boot was hard to get on and uncomfortable once it was on. An even larger size would have not worked either since the toes were already too big. And no way to go smaller since my arch barely fit.
So they run big in the length (order .5 - 1 size down) and have a slender/thin/low foot.
Good luck - wish mine would have fit.
