light weight, great color-actual color is a duller mocha brown, love it. definitely need to order 1/2 size up as suggested by previous reviews.
Follow up: 4/2012: The inside of the arch right before the inside of the heal has broken, I am very disappointed with the quality of this expensive boot. I have worn it maybe 10 times since I purchased it. Will not buy again.

First, to anyone purchasing this boot, be aware that as of today (12/7/11) the picture of the item and the color designation are reversed. There are 2 colors for this boot, a brown and a tan with turquoise accents. Don't order based on the picture that shows, order based on the color name..."brown" is the darker color, "tan" is the lighter color with the turquoise. When you click on one it will show the image of the other. I learned this the hard way and ordered the "tan" boot based on the picture of the "brown" boots, so when i got my order it was not the one I wanted. I think I read that another reviewer had this same problem so I am surprised that the problem hasn't been corrected. That said, this item ships from Amazon and their customer service is always great. Not only did I receive my order early, the returns process is very simple and free.
As far as the actual boot goes, it does run small...other reviewers mentioned this as well. My foot is between a 4.5...Read more

The boot is beautiful!!!! Before I bought them I read all the reviews and all of them said that the boot is about a 1/2 size to a full size small...that is true. My normal size is a 7 so I ordered them in a 7 1/2 and they were still too tight...! SO I had to return them and get a full size bigger from my regular size. Also, DON'T FOLLOW THE NAME!!! One of the reviews said to not follow the picture but to follow the name so I ordered brown and ended up with the tan and blue...(they were very BEAUTIFUL but I think the dark brown is better suited for me...) AMAZON said to follow the picture...SO if you are ordering these boots order a size up and use the picture for which boot you want. I have yet to get the new boots but I'm hoping these fit better! I hope this helps.
