I thought this boot would be equestrian and classic looking, but was really disappointed by the appearance. I purchased the brown/ gray style and felt like it just looked a bit "confused" in person. I would normally wear a wider style for my calf, but this did fit my calf- although tightly. The ankle on the other hand was much more roomy than I would have prefered. Overall, I would not recommend this boot.
