This is a beautiful boot, style-wise, and relatively comfortable once I figured out the right size. The quality control, though - in my experience - is poor. I tried four pairs of these (three from Amazon, one from Zappos), and each one had issues. Two pairs had a heel that wasn't attached properly (one was off center and one was slanted), which made them very unstable, and two pairs had significant amounts of glue on the suede (smears and blobs on the top and sides). The most recent ones I ordered were on sale, though, so I am going to keep them in spite of the glue - I just love the style.

I bought a pair of Rockport high heels that are way too narrow and I do not wear a narrow so I was a little worried when I bought these boots that they may be the same way, but they weren't, they fit perfect. They are beautiful!

Beautiful bootie!,

I ordered both this bootie in black suede and the Rockport Juliet bootie in black from another vendor, but ended up returning both of them since the Adidas insole wasn't quite as padded and comfy as I was hoping it would be. Since I teach, I'm on my feet most of the day, so I was hoping that this would have a bit more "oomph" on the bottom.
That being said, the Janae is high, but the platform made it very easy to walk in; although it's higher than the Juliet, I found it more comfortable. The black suede was also gorgeous, but it arrived already scuffed up, and, since I'm hard on my shoes, I knew it would only be a few wears until I had marked it up.
I ordered my true size (7.5), but think that if I would have kept it I would have exchanged it for an 8 since it fit snugly with trouser socks and was also a bit narrow.
