I wear 8.5 2e an this boot fits nice with orthoics an leaving all the liners in. Love love the stretch leather in front no pressure on your forefeet at all. Soft leather, needed heavy regular sock. Lots of support. I have bought thousands of $$$ of shoes an they don't fit my orthoics with this stretch leather it works. Best my feet have felt in years
even though i live in florida i hate to wear socks an boots but my orthoics are very wide an this feels great. Ordering black today......:)

Anyone who suffers from neuropathy in the feet knows that it is truly a feat (pun intended) finding shoes that you can comfortably wear. I normally wear ASICS because I have purchased many pairs of shoes only to give them away because my feet would begin tingling after just an hour of wear. These shoes are PERFECT for my problem feet. Did not have to break them in and the removable insoles allow me to wear thin or thick hosiery. The ankle support is excellent as well and, the flexibility on the top of the shoe allows for movement of my toes without pinching.
I purchased the Bronco Brown but I am going to get the black as well. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone but, especially to those who have problem feet. Now I'll be a happy walker!
Cheaply made.,

I was so excited to take advantage of the recent $39.20 deal Amazon ran on the Peggy boot. I have used Propet brand boots before... they were the only ones I could find at the time that I could afford, and in wide sizes.
Where to start? These boots did not have grommets through which to thread shoelaces, which made it difficult to relace the boots from the factory pre-set. They only had holes punched through the leather, and not all of the holes were wide enough, so I had to force the shoelaces through the holes... struggling with some. The shoelaces themselves were cheap, and started to fray as I was relacing the boots.
One of the reasons I wanted this boot was that it was supposed to fit my custom orthotic. Unfortunately, once I had the provided insoles removed, and mine inside, the boots were too tight. Not only were they too tight, something in the heel dug into my heel. I wear a 9.5 2E.
Lastly, the stretchable vamp puffed up and looked odd.
