Pleaser Women's Legend-8899 Boot

These boots are made quite nicely, and photograph very well! I like how the side zippers don't go all the way up the boot, just the inside of the calf, giving the concealment of the zipper a big plus.
All and all, looks good with other real leather apparel, and not the cheap appearance of pleather or patent leather.
I bought a similar pair that only go to just below the knee, and these look even better than those! The upper thigh section isn't too big, and not too small.... just right. The over all fit of the boot was very good!
I did, however, relace the back with a different material, but that was more for asthetics, and to match the leather corset I bought to go with these boots. The original lacing is also leather, but a bit stiff.

These boots are terrific! Hey there is not other sexier color than red, well maybe red/black. They only thing is they do not provide Wide sizes, but I phoned in and was told to try one size up and they wouldn't look any bigger, so I did just that and found this to be true. They are very very comfy, but wouldn't suggest wearing 8 hours straight, or 4 for that matter. I will be ging back for another pair in a different color. The price was so very reasonable. Dammit why didnt I get two right then. Oh and to my knowledge its a small company, but they rock, especially the customer service department. Thankies much!

THE GOOD:
1. It's decent material that doesn't look really cheap like I would expect for that price (although I think it's either not real leather, or it's scrap leather bits that have been pressed back into a sheet).
2. It's super comfy to walk in for that heel (of course it's not a sneaker).
3. The tie up the back is super cute!
4. It's lightweight and easy to store because it folds up without wrinkling or creasing
5. If you fold over the top, it looks like a pirate boot - great for Halloween.

THE BAD:
1. It's waaaaay too long for me. I'm 5'3" and it goes up almost to my crotch. Most my short skirts would cover or skim the top so no good if I wanted to show some leg. I thought it was an over the knee boot - not a thigh high.
2. It's definitely NOT a 5" heel. I have 5" heels and this boot is at least 1 to 2" shorter and there isn't much of a platform if any in the front so I would say it's more a 3.5" heel.
