I think the Orthaheel Tide flip flops are worth every penny! After just the FIRST day of wearing them, my heel pain (plantar fascitis) was markedly improved. I've been wearing these flip flops every day for about a week now, and they are the only shoes in my closet that don't make my heel hurt by the end of the day. I don't know what I'll do when the cold weather arrives, but for now the Orthaheel Tides are working for me.

These flip-flops are like no other! I've been wearing them for the last three days and I am now back pain free! :) They are wonderful for people who have high arches & need the extra support. The first two days my arches hurt from wearing them, but that just means my weight is being distributed over my entire foot. I now call them my back savior. I LOVE THEM!

I was looking for a shoe with arch support and BOY did I get one! This shoe had so much arch to it that it turned my entire foot in a very uncomfortable position and slid my heel off of the foot bed...my heel was literally hanging off the side of the shoe. I thought perhaps it would just take me a few days to get used to them but it was physically painful to wear them for even 10 minutes at a time. Suffice it to say, I sent them back. I ordered a pair of hipthong sandals from Chaco and they worked much better. Just in case you are wondering, I wear a women's size 8 shoe. I have a medium arch and can wear both B and C width women's shoes. If your foot is similar in size and proportion, you may have the same problem with this shoe that I did. Check out shoes by Chaco or Merrell if you decide to try these and they don't work. Hope this helps!
