These boots are beautiful and I loved them and wore them for about 6 months, twice a week. Then warmer weather came and I put them away for about 6 months. When I started wearing them again, I noticed that the leopard spots looked a bit faded. Then one day I wore them into a boot shop with a friend who was visiting me here in Austin and noticed that the Leoparditos they were selling were way more vibrant than mine. I even took my boots off and took a picture of them next to a brand new pair of boots. I emailed the pics along with a complaint letter to Old Gringo who eventually, after mostly ignoring my calls and emails for two months, asked me to mail them in to them. About 2 months later, I got the boots back with a very vague response that basically said, too bad, boots fade. I never got these boots wet, nor had I ever mistreated them. I have been eying these boots for a while now and I finally gave in and bought them. There were other sites that I was looking at before Amazon, but the prices were much higher. I bought these and received them in a short time even though it said it would be around 8 days, I got them in like 3 or 4! They are awesome looking! I love the height and everything about them. I love how they are already wore out looking, like I have been wearing them for a few years. They are a beautiful color, that would go with anything. I bought my normal size, an 8 1/2 and they were a little snug, I normally wear thin socks with boots. I put on the socks and the boots were a little snug to pull on, but after I got them on they felt perfect. Probably after a few wears of pulling them on and off they will break in more and probably won't be tough to get on. Overall I am very excited to start wearing them. These boots rock the house! They are not only absolutely beautiful, but they are soooooo comfortable, from the moment you put them on. They run pretty true to size. I usually take an 8.5 in a boot that I wear a heavier sock with, and I took an 8.5 in these. They are expensive, but well worth the money. I will absolutely LIVE in mine. They'd look great with jeans, or in the warmer weather, with shorts or a mini skirt. If you are at all thinking about it....GET THEM!
