I bought them in suede.
At first, yes they were difficult to put them on but after a couple of days of breaking them in (with thick socks, a faster process) while i was home, they became easier to slip into and i sometimes do wish the opening was a little bit bigger because my calf that are about 14 inches from the bottom point of the muscle and 17 inches wide, mid calves. Im a short person (5'1") with ok leg lengths, 8.5M shoe size, and I'm not thin but i love a little style like we all do. They look fantastic in skinny jeans (especially faded jeans) tucked in (which is a little difficult to do but it's worth it) and the look looks stunning!!!

They looked and felt fine but were hard to get on (since they have no side zipper). It was such a struggle that it wasn't even worth it. I sent them back.
