First of all, I've been wearing tall lace-up boots like these for the past ten years, so I know my stuff. :-) Anyways, I love how these boots look, and I love that they are made of high quality materials. These definitely seem more durable then other, cheaper pairs that I have bought before. They are also pretty comfortable for day-to-day life, but definitely not suitable for long walks -- there is very little padding in the sole.

My main complaint, however, is the zipper being on the outside. I actually didn't even notice that the zipper was on the outside of the boots until I got them in the mail and tried to put them on on the wrong feet! After years of wearing tall boots with the zippers on the inside of the calf, it's hard to get used to, and I still find myself accidentally trying to put them on the wrong feet even after wearing them for a month or two.

They fit perfectly and are true to size. The zipper is on the outside but looks cool. The color is nicer than it sounds or looks. More olive than gray. I wore them all day and the subfloor is concrete.
