This boot is really nice quality with soft leather and moderate cushioning. I own several pairs of Nine West boots, and shoes. The boots all ran half size big while the shoes seemed to run true to size. In my opinion, this boot runs at least a half size too big also. The boot is also narrow, and the platform sole contours in towards the bottom, leaving even less area for stepping stability. I ordered a sz 7 and these are the measurements. The heel is 4.5in and the platform is 1 inch. The widest part of the footbed measures 3in, keep in mind, it will flatten out a little to conform to your foot width. The bottom of the sole measures 2.5in across the widest part of the footbed. The center of the shaft along the zipper measured 7.5in. Around the outer opening it measured 11 inches, inside it measured 10.5. From the tip of the toe to back of the heel it measured 10 inches. I hope this helps!
