Nine West Vintage America Women's Frollic Boot

These boots are exactly what I've been looking for. For one, I have athletic calves (about 14.5" around) and most boots fit too tight on them. These claim to be 14" at the calf, but they fit me perfectly ... still loose enough to go over skinny jeans. The leg of the boot fits loosely and is made of soft suede that hasn't been reinforced, so they do slouch a little. I think this gives them a great look ... sorta cowboy boot meets urban chic. They fit true to size in both shoe size and width and are very comfortable. The plush suede is beautiful, but I would be careful in these. They look like they'll scuff/stain easily. I've treated mine with a leather spray. Overall, great boot!

I have 15 in calves and they fit me very well. I can even wear them over skinny jeans. The suede shaft is thin - it doesn't stand up on its own like it shows in the picture. But it is not so thin that it will tear. It is good quality suede and well-made boots. I am about 5'2" so the shaft comes up a little higher than mid-shaft. I like that they have a western look but they are still simple and stylish, not too country or too cowboyish. I think I will also be able to wear them with leggings and casual dresses when the weather gets warmer. I have the dark natural suede which looks like the color in the picture. And I also have the dark green suede which also looks like the picture - I'm not sure why it's called green because I don't see any green on it. It is more of a taupe or gray-brown color. It's a good neutral color.

Purchased the natural dark for myself and my daughter. We both love this boot. So comfortable. Though the suede shaft is floppy, it does stay up on your leg with no problem. I normally wear an 8 and ordered the 7 1/2 and they fit great. My daughter could also wear a half size smaller in this boot.
