These boots....I have been waiting for them to go down in price and when they did I snatched them up! I love everything about them, I went a 1/2 size up because you never know with shoes, (I wear a size 9)and there was still room in the toe. However the reason there is a star missing is because there is not enough space for my jeans to go into the boot. The shaft is not very wide so your toes go in just fine, but jeans will not. Maybe jeggings will, and I'm sure leggings will but slim leg jeans just wouldn't go into the shaft. Still in love and trying not to buy the black pair!

I purchased these boots for the $20 sale price in size 9.5 and 'taupe' color. Like noted in previous reviews, the taupe color is a lot darker than the picture but that's what I wanted anyway. [I feel unable to rock out in a light brown shoe.] The largest size offered at my initial time of purchase was 9.5 (really? you make me feel like a troll) which 9.5 was supposed to be fine because that's my shoe size. The shoes aren't too tight but the fact that they fit a little too perfectly complicates the next comment. The interior of the shoe is composed of a thin kinda-foamy-like dark fabric interior that makes the shoe more comfortable BUT this fabric stops about mid-heel on the back wall of the shoe. Why? My heels need comfort too! So the comfy fabric ends and there is this awkward line across where the external, hard fabric of the shoe finishes down to the sole. I give these boots a top rating because they are really cute, comfortable and durable. From one of the reviewers I knew ahead of time that the shaft was too short for jeans to tuck in so I was prepared for that issue. I love the slight pointed toe. I haven't worn them with leggings so I'm wondering if they'll tuck into those. I've had lots of compliments on them from my almost adult girls who are picky about boots. These are one of my favorite pair and that means something coming from the lady that owns 10 pair of boots! I thought too that the price couldn't be beat.
