I recently bought these at a deep discount, and for what I paid, I think the quality is fine. Unlike the other reviewer, I do believe these are actual leather, albeit not the best quality/softest leather boots I have owned. For full price, I might have thought the quality was lacking a little bit (the outer "flaps" with the buckles are not "finished" all that nicely, and it is a very lightweight leather overall). But for what I paid -- these are great and they look good with many outfits; the ruching is a nice touch and the wedge heel is easy to walk in.

I was in love with the style of these boots from the picture. I read the reviews so I thought I knew what I was getting. Unfortunately, I have to agree with all of the negatives. The leather was scuffed and obviously paper thin. There is glue residue around the sole of the shoe, indicating poor construction in my mind. The cuff is unfinished, just cut leather but no seam/lining/threading. I didn't even wait 10 minutes to decide to return them. Shame because Naughty Monkey is usually pretty good...these are not. Imagine my disappointment....alas my search for the perfect brown boot continues...

I own a pair of Naughty Monkey boots that I purchased from Nordstroms and they are genuine leather. I ordered these Pretty Please boots yesterday and they came here today. I took them out of the box and they screamed fake. The supposed-to-be leather feels like plastic. The inside is foam and they are way to light. Leather has a certain smell to it and these boots are not made right. They are clearly fakes. Do not buy.
