I am not easily impressed. It took me many tries this year to find a perfect pair of boots. I have gone both cheap and expensive without finding anything that was just right. What I wanted was a western inspired boot that was also modern enough to wear with a casual dress and tights. I wanted a heel that wasn't so outrageous I couldn't do a decent amount of shopping and sight seeing without getting sore. (going on a trip) But enough heel to give lift and be stylish. It's chunky as shown, no sprained ankles here. At first I was hesitant because of the silvery detail on the sides. When I got them I was so happy with it. The extra color is great because it makes the whole boot so trendy and fashionable. But definitely has that dress up feel to it too. In the picture the silver really stands out. But in real life it's really not that shiny.I tried these on with a blue cardigan, a red top, a black frock.I am not a jeans girl but I bet they would look killer with some skinny's. The boots fit narrow at the toe, I really liked the look and the heel height, but they were not comfortable, I returned them.

This is a very attractive, true to size boot. Slips a little bit in the heel, but fine with a gel insole. The silver accents on the side are a nice accent and not too blingly....just subtle highlights.
