Look as great as you feel in the Naturalizer Arness tall boot. This women's boot features a supple leather upper with a decorative strap and buckle detail. A side zipper provides easy on/off, while a full-length elastic goring panel lends a snug fit at the calf. The N5 Comfort System offers support with a cushioned footbed, a flexible sole, ergonomic heel and toe shapes, and a breathable lining to keep you cool. The Naturalizer Arness boot offers a stable low heel for all-day ease.

Amazon.com Product Review

Naturalizer's Arness boot offers a British equestrian heritage with a buckle reminiscent of the American West for a cross-genre style that's ready to ride anything--even subways. A side zipper grants quick access to the leather upper with a goring panel for a customized fit over jeans and tights alike. A smart wooden heel keeps the look from falling too flat.

I have *huge* calves (~18-19") and these are the only boots I've found so far that fit them, thanks to the elastic panel. For that reason alone, I'm keeping them.

However, they're not quite what I wanted. The toe box is a bit mannish, especially under pants, so I'm pretty much limited to wearing them with skirts. On me, they ran a bit long and narrow, and I needed more arch support, so I had to add an insole (Dr. Scholl's Tri-Comfort Orthotics Inserts). They also tend to bunch at the ankle, and i'm not really fond of that look--and I can see that it might get uncomfortable over time, too. They are also more casual of a look than I wanted.

But they are otherwise pretty comfortable. They are VERY tight on my huge calves, but still comfortable, and don't give me muffin top legs--that elastic really does work miracles, and it looks a lot better than I thought it would, not tacky at all. I couldn't tuck jeans or even leggings into them, but I'm not fond of that...Read more

The boot upper is really soft and lightweight, so when you wear them a while they tend to slide down and bunch at the ankle. Then the zipper hits the ankle and hurts. The heel is odd looking hard rubber.

These boots are comfortable. I have large calves and have a hard time finding boots that fit. These are easy to slide into and have a more padded sole than most. At the age of 65, comfort is important! I enjoy wearing them.
