This is my first year discovering Miz Mooz boots and I'm so glad I did! I wanted a pair of riding boots but was having trouble finding a pair that weren't too wide in the calves (giving me the rainboot look) and that also didn't make my feet look HUGE (I usually wear a 7.5 on a 5'3" frame so it happens). I'm very happy with these.

-Sizing: I had to size down- I'm normally a 7.5 but find that I'm a 7 in most Miz Mooz boots- in these I'm a 6.5 (and that's accounting for skinny jeans and thick wool boot socks). The size 7's did fit, but my heel moved up and down as I walked and so I found the 6.5's to be perfect in that regard. My foot is a bit wider due to bunions and the toe box is a nice fit, not too wide and not too narrow.

-Height: These boots are definitely tall. I'm 5'3" and they hit right under my knee. I noticed the leather loosening a bit upon my first wear and so it really wasn't a bother for more than the first few minutes of wearing them. I read on...Read more

I took a risk and ordered these in 'brown'. I had feared they would look too red since the photo shows a red boot. No one had posted a photo so I wasn't sure I should risk ordering...but I did. I have since posted a photo for anyone who was also on the fence. I wish I could lie and say these boots are horrible -- because honestly I don't want more women running around with the same boots on as me. But these are comfortable, elegant and uniquely designed.
One warning to folks - they are VERY fitted and snug. I have thin legs to begin with and found it a bit snug...but have read that they will stretch over time. There is an elastic fabric section/panel that runs along the length of the boot -- that I assume is the part that will loosen up. I wear a 8.5 to a 9 in boots and bought the 8.5 (5'9) I will consider switching it for the 9 but will wait until another day of test-wearing around the house.

Amazing price for an amazing boot. You'll be thrilled with your...Read more

These boots look great on and the leather is really soft and of good quality. However, they are not so comfortable. There is really no padding for the foot so I had to put in a Dr. Scholls. This helped a lot and provided me a better fit since I have a narrow foot. I also had to put in a heel pad to help keep my heel from sliding up. Lastly, I think they run a half size too big, but since I had to put in the Scholls padding they fit fine now. After all that you would think I wouldve returned them but they look great, are so cute and they fit my calf perfectly with skinny jeans. First time I wore them I received a complement. Oh, and the color is true to the picture. I have the grey.
